I have been looking for a new phone for awhile now and I have read tons of reviews and information on each one. I am going to sell my ming, I am tired it sucking for input (texting). I am due for an upgrade and I can get the blackjack from cingular super cheap (and call to cancel to internet plan they force on you) - except i don't like the way the blackjack looks or the fact that it lacks wifi (not super important though). However, I like the way the dash (S620) looks and it has wifi. The dash is cheap ~ $220-$250. The S710 is similar to the dash except it is smaller, but I'm not sure if the slider would get annoying when I need to text (while driving, although its dangerous anyways). Also, the Nokia 6120 classic looks awsome, except it lacks a keyboard and wifi. I always liked series 60 phones, but windows mobile isnt bad. Has anyone owned any of these phones and is able to compare? thanks

Ist. let me say I have T-Mobile, I have had most of the phones you have and liked the 6682, though I had the 6681 unlocked, just sold my ming for the same reason you are considering selling yours, had an unlocked Blackjack, and 2 dashes, as well as still have an unlocked Nokia E62. So with al that said I would go with the Dash, or they now have an updated version with 3g, though It looks funny to me. The Dash is perfect is size, has windows mobile 6 upgrade either installed or available where the blackjack does not. The Blackjack was okay but I did not like the square look personally.

I also like the series 60 system and that's why I keep the E62 around but it's too big for everyday, I use it more when I want to switch up unlit some else in that op system comes along.

I've had the sprint 650, 700p, 700wx, 6700, a900, and a bunch of sanyo's before I went PDA phone. Had Cingular HP 6515, Blackjack, 650, E62, BB 8700, Verizon BB8700, and A920 (I Think), Nextel 830, 870, BB7100, and T- Mobile BB 7100t, Treo unlocked 650, MDA, SDA, Dash, Sidekick, Sidekick ID, and on and on...

For Now the Dash is the one I prefer, size, feature, operating system, CS of T-Mobile, they insure and replace their high end phones where congular does not, And the Dash is truly pocketable, unlock my treos and PPC phones.

I am going to be using it on AT&T. I am starting to lean towards the dash (because of the small size and wifi - and the fact that it can be flashed to the HTC excaliber firmware), but considering it only has a 200mhz processor; does it have any problems with emulators (namely: nes games!)/java software?

I use PocketNester and have no problems, actually play wrstling, baseball stars, and punchout daily. Works perfect.
the windows 6 upgrade has Java built is, I have used this for a few programs as well and it's hit and miss with Jave, Virtual Earth works, as well as Sonic and others I've tried, but just as many did not work. It's hard to tell with Java though because the program has to fit the system and I was loading some prgrams I used on my Razr and Ming and about 50% of those that worked on the Ming, work on the Dash.

That's the one thing I miss about my ming, I could use the $5.99 t-mobile internet for full wap and all the Java programs worked!
