Deciding on how many gallons a fish tank should be?

Hi, I'm planning on getting one angelfish and a few (2 or 3) really tiny fish (let me know if I should be more specific). I was just wondering how many gallons that tank should be. I don't have a lot of money to spend on the tank so if you could, also let me know a store that sells them at reasonable prices. Thanks for any help! :]]
