Decided to keep the 1198s..so it's MOD time. Your recommendation is important

changing/flashing the ECU will really help out your low end problems and fueling. It's not just about HP. It cost me $300 to send out my ECU to silverback racing and have them flash it for a full akra system. It is easy to remove and put back in.

1) Easy to install. I like Speedymoto's plate, springs, caps, cover. There are many others like SSR, EVR, DP, Rizoma, Shift Tech, they are endless.

2) My favorite, but again your choice.

3) Acculigns here by Nick at Motowheels. They have unlimited adjustability and look great.

Brand wise - cheap is Woodcraft, pass on the CRG and Speedys. Many swear by Sato's...

4) ASV are great, I am waiting until someone gets them in stock. Brembo top lever is the best with remote adjuster but pricey. Rizoma is pricey. CRG is the same as Pazzo in my mind.

5) Your choice.

6) Akrapovic slips, Leo Vince slips. Or just get Termi. I love my full 70mm Termi, but again pricey. Any other exhaust doesn't look right on a Duc. Comp Werkes is garbage.

If you go slip ons IMHO there's no exhaust that sounds and perform better than Arrow

EXACTLY what jcbertin said...

1) Easy as hell to install (just line up the notch correctly)

2) Speedymoto has great quality and craftsmanship (not to mention great looking products)

3) Sato's from Dan Kyle or Acculign by Nick from motowheels here on the site (nick.kister = DucatiSpot 10% discount)

4) ASV's are the best...IMO

5) Don't recommend it...didn't you buy a 2010?

6) Termi's, Akro's, Arrow, Leo V, etc...

I'm using these on my 1098 and Streetfighter.

MW Folding Brake Lever: 999/1098/S4RS/HM/SF-Black

We get a lot of samples from MFGs all the time, I found these the most comfortable and easiest to adjust. They are also folding, so they won't leave you stranded somewhere with broken levers if you tip the bike over. They have a low-key Italian look. The short version is only slightly shorter so you clutch pull does not get any more difficult.
