I have outstanding debts which are 5 years old, as there is more debt then I can pay off I was waiting for the statute of limitations to expire on it, however last week they wrote to my mums address and she opened the letter and made a payment on it.
Does the statute of limitations start all over again? Is there anyway back from this? We live in the UK and I know our laws vary from the US.
