Hi, I am thinking a little ahead, trying to find something to look forward to - I need some input from people that are well versed in both areas - between Jacksonville area or Tampa Bay area - which would be better to raise a family and attend graduate school. I would like my kids to experience as close to a New England lifestyle as possible (I grew up there, but its not an option to go there as my fiance hates it!), meaning some difference in seasons, educated working white collar families.. We live in South Florida right now and I just dont want to raise my kids/continue my education down here in this stuck up environment. I want a place with real people, upscale and safe but does not have to be Palm Beach by any means... I'm leaning towards Jacksonville or the outskirts, but I'm just basing that off online research. Affordability is obviously an issue too... our max is probably $225k and we'd like a nice 3/2 with a pool if possible - I'm not sure which city is a better option....or any other city near the ocean that sounds similar, maybe as far north as Maryland; any input or advice to help my decision is greatly appreciated!!
