Lately I've been feeling pretty sad, Idk why. I mean there's been stress this whole school year but idk why now it is affecting me. I am a freshmen in college, I'm on the swim team. I don'treallylike swimming. Every time I swim I think to myself, "I hate this. Ican't wait to quit." And I'm so unmotivated idk how I'm going to hit a best time. The only reason I'm swimming this season is so I can try to break some records. I'm going to try to quit for next year.
Well I have a meet on Friday, and my coach has a rule that if you miss a practice (swimming OR liting) then you can't swim in the next meet- I'm just debating skippiing lifting so I won't have to go to the meet. I just feel very sad. My parents are going to be there and they are going to be all happy and cheering for me. My mom is like a soccer mom of swimming. My dad always cheers for me and they are so happy I'm a swimmer at a prestigious school yet it makes me even more sad that they don't know how much I am suffering. What should I do?
