Debating pros of Arranged Marriages..?

We are currently debating the pros and cons of arranged marriages. Do you have some reasons and examples of why arranged marriages are good?

this is a fantastic resource, and it sets out some very good arguments in favour and also against arranged marriages. The points go deeper than just the basic "arranged marriages are good" arguments and instead look at social and cultural factors.

sure the gov. takes away freedom everyday and raise taxes why not the parents to and instead of allowance you can charge them it's perfect commie sure they work. the women have no choice and if they split no one will have her except all the married men b4 they go home dumb commi3e
 
I think they are good. I would like to be in an arranged marriage. I cant find a husband on my own. I have been trying for years and still waiting and nothing happens..So I would appreciate if I would be "forcefully" set up to be married to someone, at least I would be married and have someone support me, instead of being broke, unhappy and single.
