Ok, I am 17 years old and I am on a family plan with Verizon -- LG Voyager. I am a secondary line -- so I could just cancel my line without a problem. Two things -- 1. The Voyager battery is awful 2. My iPod Touch's (1st generation) earphone jack is busted and i need to pay 80 plus tax to fix it or get 10% off a new iPod. When I was in the apple store and saw the new iPhone, I just thought how useful it would be -- internet, phone, iPod, GPS, etc. The lowest calling plan is 40 dollars for 450 minutes -- which is the perfect amount and 30 for the data plan which is internet.. then the texting plan i would get is 20 so the bill would be 90 dollars. My dad pays 55 for our family plan and i would probably get that and I would have to pay the difference -- 35 dollars. I already pay 65 a month for car insurance, so I would pay my parents $100 a month. However, I make $150-200 a week at my part time job, so I could afford it.. I really need advice.
