debating on whether or not to try cloth diapers...?

i am a stay-at-home mom & thinking about buying them because they are cheaper-- but not so sure...what do you guys think about them? are they just a pain to use/clean? how many do you own? do you use them at all times? what brand is the best?

any other knowledge about them would be great- truthfully all i know about them is that they are re-usable after you clean them. thanks in advance
