city~more populated? I am debating between moving to a rural town in Colorado or to one more industrial & more populated. I was debating this same question in June when i moved out west from Ithaca, NY to Colorado. At the time, I decided to move to Colorado Springs, CO which seemed to me like a good 'middle ground' place to reside since Colorado Springs is pretty much in between the rural/country and metropolitan area.To make it brief, I really don't like where i currently live (Colorado Springs) there has been a slim variety of available job's since i've been here & moreover; i find my single romantic status to be a very solitary & really rare trait in comparison to the variety of women and men i have met so far. Since i've been living in Colorado Springs & although i have been kind, friendly & outgoing with the intention of trying to meet people here i have not made any true friends since i've lived here. A significant part of me wants to move to a place in CO that has many unique job openings, a smaller tight-knit friendly community with people who value some of the life choice's that i do such as being a vegetarian, composting, recycling, DIY culture, gardening, supporting local business's and enjoying outdoor activities of all kinds, no matter the season :O) i am also seeking a place that has more single people so i won't feel so truly solo. & On the flip-side a part of me fear's if i move to a larger city such as Denver, that i'll inevitably feel confused, panicked & unhappy in the hustle & bustle of living in/near Denver/the capital of CO . I have visited Denver & its surrounding area's a # of times & i regret to say it but personally , I have not found any enticing 'positives' in or around the Denver area that truly interested & impressed me. I don't consider myself a 'city gal' but i do want to meet more singles & live near some great unusual museums-which Denver does have ( sorry i forgot to mention this positive point!) on the opposite side of the spectrum, i worry that moving myself to a rural community will be aesthetically pleasing but even more lonely. Considering all i've told you about me, where in Colorado do you think i would fit in best? please be as specific as you can in recommending a place to me that I should look into considering moving to. Thank you very much for your answer & time!
