Debating 2 digital cameras... HELP!?

Ok... I am getting a new digital camera for my birthday (May), so I have time to think about it. I have a Kodak now and LOVE it... but it's fat and it doesn't fit into stroller compartments or my diaper bag all that well, and it's just time for an upgrade... I got this one about 2 years ago...

SO... The two I am debating are the Canon PowerShot:

I just point and click and take pics... nothing too fancy. I know the Kodak has more megapixels but that isn't always what makes a camera great is it? Any advice would be WONDERFUL!!! Or if you have another slim camera to recommend I would love a link to it or just the name of it!!!

This is my opinion,
When it comes to photo quality megapixel isnt alway the key. Its the quality of the lens (that is a fact not my opinion) These are both decent point and shoot cameras.Canon has a better quality lens than Kodak, and if I am not mistaken Kodak is in the process of going bankrupt.

The only difference i've found in any point and click cameras is indoors/low-light. in this regard, the canons work pretty well, and the "image stabilization" actually does help a lot. my hands are super-shaky and i like that it keeps my shots fairly well focused. That said, the SD1100 that you chose is brand new and hence slightly overpriced. Take a look at the 850IS or the 950IS too, because their new upgrades just came out too.
