Debate: That we should ban air travel?

Please list any relevant points supporting this topic (we didn't choose it and I certainly don't support it, but it's for a Grand Final).

A team theme would also be nice.

The points should be relevant to environmental, economical and safety.

i would only band air travel because it's become too expensive. plus now you have to pay for your luggage too. what, do they expect us to travel only with the clothes on our backs?! it's ridiculous.
 
Positive - Less air pollution, No airplane hijacks....

Negative - Slows the entire planet down, BAAAAD for economy since it'll take WEEKS to get anything across the Atlantic and Pacific, Terrorist will still find ways to attack, More oil spills, Less tourist income to countries, Multi-million dollar building with no use, Multi-million dollar airplanes with no use, Excessive lay-offs to workers and pilots....I could go on forever...

Thats a REALLY dumb idea....
