I need some help finding a debate research topic (immigration, same sex marriage, etc.). Now for one of my sources I need to interview someone. What topic can I do that I can have an interview source? I live in Utah, I don't have a whole lot of resources. I'm in a college class, but he's more interested in how I'll have written my paper than my sources or subject. My professor keeps saying this isn't supposed to be a huge project, but silly me when he asks for a 30page essay with an interview source and an additional essay just to write about how the interview went, could just be me, but I think it's a lot bigger than he cares to admit. I know there are a lot of things, but I don't want too big of a topic and I can't find a topic that I'll have an interview resource for. As far as I know there are no limits on the subject. Some ideas would be great! Thanks for the help!
