Debate on the theory of Evolution?

Also I would like to note that I would like to hear the opinions of all sort of people, from different religions (or lack thereof)
Ok, before I start this off, I want it to be known that I am not trying to anger or belittle anyone, and that any comments made should be respectful to other people's beliefs, whatever they are. Also, I expect you to have a logical answer and use your brain for whichever perspective you have.

What do you all think about the theory of evolution? Here's my take on it.

I am religious and I was brought up to believe in creationism, but also was taught about the theory of evolution by darwin. I have several theories, of which I am unsure of which I believe. These are in no particular order.

1. theory - Darwin's standard theory of evolution, and natural selection. Humans and other animals have evolved from a common ancestor from over millions of years.

criticism - there is no solid link between different organisms (i.e. the missing link, no solid proof of relation to any other current organism)

2. theory - Creationism, God created everything over a very short amount of time, including humans as they are right off the bat.

criticism - It seems highly unlikely that the earth is only a few thousand years old when science proves that many things such as dirt or fossils are millions of years old.

3. The earth is indeed billions of years old, and the symbolism in the bible as to the 'seven days' is actually those billions of years, in which humans were still placed on it spontaneously. This theory is still on a basis that there is a God.

criticism - there is no solid proof that humans simply just appeared, and yet there is still no proof that they didn't (I think. Correct me if I'm wrong)

Does anyone else have any other theories? Please no spam (although I suppose that's just asking for it =) ).

What do you all think?
