Debate Help Please...ASAP!!!!?

The thing is Ive never been in a class debate before...well at least not when it counts for a grade. So I have one next week, and I really need help on how to be successful... My group doesn't seem to excited either.-_- Not a good situation. What am I suppose to do?

So my side is defending: Against Automatic Admission Standards.

I tried to find some info on it but i couldn't. and I need to find a few articles and stuff.

Oh yeah, and I need to know how I can win against my opponent (they have a few smart kids) which are supporting Automatic Admission Standards.

So can anyone help me find reliable sources (not Wikipedia, we cant use that) with articles relating to my topic? I really cant find ANY. I mean I wasted nearly an hour searching!

First of all winning . If you can possibly do so allow your opponent to speak first and you try to get in the last shot and since yu are preparing the most you try to speak last . Why , because one always remembers most what he hears last .
I would Google admissions standards for various schools like Law , Medical , private schools etc , then I would take all the notes I could on the ones that stood out strong for and then I would sit down with those notes and combat each one of them , shoot down their theories with your own . Sometimes you can get away with giving false facts and figures if you just act like you know what you are doing and saying . Relax and enjoy the thrill of the competition and treat it as a debate with your parents on something and you need to win . Its the same thing Good luck
