Debate for the Patriot Act tomorrow in class....?

We are debating tomorrow in my english class, and my group was assigned to be FOR the Patriot Act. We did some research, but I still don't feel like we're ready. Can anyone suggest some important points, things that we can argue to show it's good, and what we could say to refute possible points made by the opposing team? Thanks!
We didn't get to pick our topic OR which side we were on.
I don't need points against it, my question wasn't.. "Why do you dislike the Patriot Act?"
 
how about this one. Why is it called the patriot act? and not say the anti terrorism Criminal act or the High tech tech terrorism prevention act..etc......??

What was the purpose of naming it something that made it clear that if you disagreed with any portion of it or all of it that you are not a patriot and that you are a traitor???? Debate whether the name should be changed to somthing less suggestive that dissent is treason.

Surprise your teacher and say that you cannot in good conscience defend the patriot act...and then make your best case why the patriot act violates the constitution.
