Question: "That new age, ******, hippy bulls*** is eating away at the soul of this nation and turning us all into old women"

The question is a quote from the satirical novel, 'Popcorn' by Ben Elton. The quote contexts is a persons recount what one of the main antagonists would say to rubbing women's feet (showing affection).

I'm a bit stuck for outside ideas, I'm thinking fight club....
+ I'm affirmative

As you are so 'intellectual' yourself I'm shocked you can't put together a sentence that makes sense...

But it's the struggle to maintain a grip on the youth of life, and the push of the younger generation and their change of style (new age, hippy) pressurising the mature generation into a stressful, inevitable label that they gain, as old and ugly is not desired.
