Serious question requiring serious answers; What could make a good mission statement for a debate club (something that gives a quick overview of what we aim to achieve)? I was thinking something along the lines of "To teach the fundamentals of Debate while promoting the First Amendment," but that seems short, dorky, and really, really boring. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to make a more interesting mission statement?
