I'm currently learning about debate and my resolution is:
The federal government should establish a national policy to ban smoking in public places.
I'm the affirmative side, meaning I'm FOR the resolution.
I need arguments for this topic but almost all of the ones that I've been seeing only talk about how it's harmful and that it causes many diseases.
I want an argument like how it violates citizen's rights or something like that, which would be a good argument. But I have to get all my evidence from ARTICLES. And I haven't been able to find any articles that talk about anything besides that secondhand smoke is harmful and such.
Does anyone have an article that would be good for this?
