Death Of A Salesman Question?

Hi, just been looking up English techniques and came across an interesting one called allegory. Anyways, I was wondering if in Death of a salesman willy Loman's second name consitutes as use of this technique. Feedback and suggestions into other techniques would be appreciated. Thanks ;)
