We were going to buy a house and the mortgage broker had our monthly payments way higher then we wanted. He said their was nothing he could do to get it lower. When we told him we were terminating the contract all of a sudden he had our payments down below what we aggreed. Can he do this?
At this point I am tired of dealing with him and we can't switch banks. Now he is refusing to write a letter of rejection for financing so we can cancel the contract and get our earnest money back.
My other question is, If the seller does not accept an extention it terminates the contract. Does that mean we get our earnest money back?
