sent us home with another car. Help? We negotiated over an invoice that the salesman brought us for a 2011 Traverse LT2 we were interested in. The invoice listed the Personal Communication Package and the Towing Package as part of the vehicle. We made the deal and I brought the invoice home with me. After a couple of days I realized that the vehicle we came home with didn't have the Personal Communications Package or the Towing Package installed on it. I then compared the VIN on the invoice and the VIN of the vehicle... they are different. I checked the loan docs and the title... they all have the VIN of the vehicle (different than the VIN on the invoice). I suspect at this point that they purposely presented us with an invoice for a different vehicle that had upgraded options in order to try and negotiate a higher purchase price from us. I google'd around to try and find other people that had had similar experiences with dealerships to try and find suggested next steps, but to no avail. I'm hoping someone here can make a suggestion. I assume that what they did was not legal. It may have been a mistake on their part... this may become clear after we talk to them about it, which we haven't done yet. Any advice or suggestions for us?
