I do all three fluid changes, oil filter, adjust clutch if necessary, clean air filter, and replace plugs every 5,000 miles, and I also use Amsoil. It's just easier to do it all every 5,000 miles, and it costs about $125.00 whereas my dealer wants $377.00 just for fluids. I was wondering, if they're only changing your engine oil, why is it $270.00 ? They didn't even check the air in my tires when I let them do the 1,000 mile service. That was the last time they touched my bike... guess the bike wash is what cost the other $200.00 !!!
