Hi all! I'm looking for some advice on what to do with my T3 that's no longer under warranty. For 5 weeks, I used a travel charger instead of the usual cradle. Everything was fine until about 3 weeks ago when I dropped the charger and it fell apart. I was able to put it back together again and hooked my palm up to it and thought everything was OK since the green light came on. But it didn't charge and my T3 would no longer turn on. Additionally, my laptop said it didn't recognize the USB device attached to it. Naturally, I thought that the problem was the charger, so I replaced it. Once again, the green light came on but nothing else seems to be working. Now I'm back to using the normal cradle. I'm still getting nothing and also getting the message that the laptop doesn't recognize the USB device. I've tried the soft and hard resets in and out of the cradle to no avail. So here's my question: Do you think it's something fixable, like the battery? Should I try replacing the battery myself? Or should I just send it in to be repaired by the folks at Palm?
