I haven't watched it in a long time and it knocked the wind out of me the first time so I had to watch a couple of more times to really sink it in. To me, in history, most of our best poets have been insane, drunks, heroine addicts, etc. Tortured souls. Some more than others. This movie showed the range that a true poet can have about what they do and love and how people perceive poetry as something that you are famous for after you are gone, not while you are here.
