Dead fish in the ocean? Dead fish in fish tanks?

When a fish dies in a fish tank, it floats to the top. When a fish dies in the ocean, it sinks to the bottom. Why is this? I assume fish that die in tanks float because they are lightweight and fish in the ocean sink because they are heavier? But it doesn't make sense when I think of water : fish weight ratio.
