A security guard stopping two teenage girls to question them about shoplifting from a midtown Victoria’s Secret Thursday made a horrifying discovery — one of the teens was carrying a dead fetus in a plastic bag, police sources said.
The guard at the lingerie store grabbed the two 17-year-olds inside the Broadway store near Sixth Ave. at about 1:10 p.m., sources said.

When they looked through their belongings, they found what appeared to be a dead newborn male in a black plastic bag, according to a police source. The baby was swaddled in some clothes, the source said.
One of the teens, a Brooklyn resident, claimed that she gave birth to the newborn on Wednesday.

She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital for treatment, sources said.
The second teen was taken to an area precinct stationhouse for questioning, sources said.
The city Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how the newborn died, sources said.
