Does anybody care about De Niro anymore? A new De Niro film used to be a special event but it seems like he's spent the last 15 years destroying the legacy of the first 20 years of his career.

Midnight Run is one of my most favourite movies ever, but I'm not sure I want a sequel. Has Grodin signed up too? Martin Brest?

I dunno. I love the original, and I don't want to to see them mess it up.

He's only had 3 hit films I think, Beverly Hills Cop, Midnight Run and Scent Of A Woman. Hope Grodin does sign up but can't see it he's 75 next month-could do a cameo hopefully

Midnight Run was the first film where De Niro had big box office in his own right so ironically it ushered in the era where he appeared in any old tat for money.

Well the original is my favourite film of all time but fact that it has De Niro on board is a gd sign, just glad Brest opted to cast Charles Grodin for the original Robin Williams was interested in his part. Like RW but dont think him playing Jonathan Mardukas would have worked

I just hope if they do decide to make a follow-up that they will do it right. The original is still a fantastic watch even today.
