Why shouldn't Sisters attend an Social/Islamic Education group? Muslims should come together and unite against enemies? Who is trying to keep Muslims from assembling? What are their motivations? Will they win or the Muslims? Will they try to create internal dissension (fitna)?

Topic: I know what you did last summer! -Online friends, are we revealing too much?

Panelists: Srs. Fizza Hasan, Sakina Rumani & Sayyida Mehrali

Notions:

1) Msn on, hijab off? Do our online interactions reflect our inner modesty?
2) Facebook changed my life! How the use of online communications has affected our everyday lives?
3) Would you sign up to Big Brother? Is our information safe online?

Time: 6pm sharp! ( Table tennis facilities provided from 5pm)

Venue: Abrar House (45 Crawford Place, London W1H 4LP )

Join us to discuss the effects of social networking on people’s everyday lives. Whether it be the maintenance of modesty; the increase in opportunities, procrastination, & divorce rates; or the privacy of our shared information. Refreshments will be served.

As mentioned above, table tennis facilities will be provided for sisters from 5pm. A great opportunity to learn/ practice your table tennis skills and meet new people!
