Hi,

Day Watch is showing in cinemas this weekend, and I quite like the look of it.

However, I don't know if it is in English or not.

The Odeon website mentions it being Russian, and having Subtitles.

Although I like the look of it, im not sure if I can sit in the cinema reading the subtitles instead of enjoying the film.

Does anyone know if it is in English?

It starts in english, but has subtitles after a couple of minutes.

The subtitles are not distracting in the least & are sometimes animated/move around/change colour etc.

It is the second film of a trilogy, the first film Night Watch is on Film4 on Saturday at 23:25 (It's not essential to see the first film first though).

If you liked The Matrix you will like these films.
 
the first film had quite a confusing (and slightly messy) plot but the special effects and sheer sense of style more than made up for it. I'll def check out the second movie and there is nothing quite like it.
 
I just been to see this completly Nutter film !!! Its a wonderful daft film well worth a view ....If you seen the 1st one it leaRAB on an ties up loaRAB of things ...
I dont think you need to see the 1st film to enjoy this romping good LOL ! film ,
The two leading ladies in the film are gorgeous an the part where ...oh well I wont spoil it but Its a Cracker ....
I really enjoy foreign language films an after awhile the subs arent that intrusive , was funny in parts where the actor would talk for about 5mins an the subs said .."Yes lets go !"...
A decent good film ,not a date kinda movie but blokes will love it :)
