Day after exercising I'm hungry all day!?

Ok, I'm on a diet, or "lifestyle change" to be more specific. I'm doing great, but a few days ago I worked out with heavy weights and did my usual cardio. The next day, i'm hungry every 2 hours. I almost feel like exercise is holding me back. When i was doing more cardio then weights, i didn't have this problem. But I don't want to lose too much muscle when i'm losing weight as well. How do I get back to being hungry every 3.5-4 like i was before.
