Wasn't sure where too put this, so I'm letting all classic turtle fans know. This guy wrote probably about 60% of all 80's cartoons out there :). Any 50% where great ones :).

The con is 7-9th in December...as far as I know, this is his first con, so he's a pretty rare guest..

They do have the same name. For clarification, the David Wise that's gonna be at the convention is the guy who wrote for Transformers G1 and TMNT '87. Not the guy who did the music to the Donkey Kong Country trilogy & Battletoads. Though David Wise the writer wrote the pilot for Battletoads the cartoon, which never got picked up BTW.

Not as far as I know. The nearest he got to true anime was Transformers, although he was one of the few writers (along with at least Buzz Dixon) of the series who really knew their stuff about Super Robot anime and to top it off he even personally knew the 'father' of the latter-day Super Robots, Go Nagai. Maybe that explains why he wrote more episodes of Transformers than any other writer?

Of course, the fact that he's the CEO of Go! Comi who publish various manga might also shed some light on why he's attending the festival! :)

I'm going too TRY and snag a short interview with him. Mostly He-Man and Turtles, so if you've got 5 questions for each, let me know.

I'm also going too try and snag Sean Schemmel as well..

Mr.Wise told me too leave my cell phone number at the booth and if he has time, he'll call..
