Daub sealant, any ideas?
I have made a sloping roof for a bee house from daub, as i "wattle and daub", a mixture of clay, horse dung, wool and straw.
Ant ideas please how I can make it waterproof?
Any sealant must be 100% natural, else the bees won't come into it.
I had thought of beating a few eggs up and painting that on, any other suggestions?

Two thoughts:-
Cedar roof shingle/s stuck with pine resin (from your local pine tree).

Using mud fashion flat roof tile/s and leave to cure in the sun for several days form a couple of holes to accept wooden pegs to hold them in place.
