Date with my BF. Gay Salsa class or regular salsa class.?

Hey, I am planning a date with my boyfriend. I have two choices. The first is I have found a restaurant that offers salsa lessons with dinner. I think that it would be fun to have dinner and learn salsa as well. However, during research I found a gay friendly salsa class. (Mostly gay people, few if any straights.) We live in a suburban area so it not welcoming with open arms, but not homophobic either. Prices are about the same too.
If feel as a matter of principle I should attend the dinner and salsa class. If straight don't like us dancing together they can pound sand. However, I want my partner to be comfortable too.
Any suggestions?
 
You should go to the gay salsa class. I think both of you would feel more comfortable, without the stares and whispers you might get in the regular class.

It's not so much about "letting them win" but more about enjoying your date, being happy, and comfortable.
 
Talk it over with your partner and see how they feel. If your partners' comfort is all you truly care about, that is all i suggest.
