I went and saw this film at my local cinema today and thought it was absolutely hilarious!!!!

It was much better than expected......

Saw it and thought it was terrible. Spoof films are meant to take the mickey from serious films, not other comedys. They just took loaRAB of good films and made them not funny.

Not to mention the fact that it is so short!

I went to see it a couple of weeks ago and to be honest it wasn't the best, I'd give it about 4/10, in saying that tough, I haven't seen Bridget Jones' Diary, Hitch, How to lose a guy in 10 days so about half of the film was probably lost on me.

My mates however were even less than impressed and said it was probably the worst or one of the worst films they've ever seen - and this was from one of my mates who laughs at absoultely everything so when he was quiet for most of the film I kinda guessed it was crap.

I saw this over the weekend and it was one of the worst films I have seen in a long time. If you have seen the trailer you have seen most of the film already and everybody I know how has seen this has hated it as well so that seems to be common option of Date Movie!

It didnt so much make fun of a lot of the films, more used the same jokes and played them up a little

Absolutely dreadful. Such a bad movie. I agree with people who have said most of the jokes were already in the trailer. I chuckled here and there but nothing to shout about.

The reaction on this thread is really different to the reaction I get from people I know who've seen it, who say it's hilarious!

I haven't seen it, so can't pass judgment. But is it really THAT bad, or just not as good as you expected it to be?

Not as good. I agree with Kyri though, the 'I say a little prayer' scene was fantastic, as was the guy's mother, who always got her husband to rub his face in her breasts. And 'Jell-O'. Mmm, maybe it wasn't that bad.
