Dash board warning lights! Ford Focus.?

Please help if you can! I have been on google trying to get a simple question answered and cannot find help. I need to know what this symbol is as it came on my car today. It is on the far left of the dashboard on 2002 ford focus. I don't know if the picture will show up but I will try it. The symbol looks kind of like a piece of a pipe. Thanks!
No the picture will not come out. It is not battery that I know of squiggles, all the way left on dash.
 
MIL light, you car has logged a code in its computer. Have a shop or someone with an OBD scanner run a scan. Try an AutoZone store if you have one, they do it for free. A scan will retrieve the code or codes and help you to diagnose what set off the light.
