i have tried really hard to like this series since it looked amazing in previews. but every time i try watching it i never get past the first episode. does it get better? and should i give it one last try and watch more of it??
 
yes yes yes. if you like fairly complex storylines, action, great characters etc, do it. It's also quite funny in places too ^^

no worries, yeah i'm into darker than black, ghost in the shell, death note, appleseed, at the moment. sci-fi and psychological anime : )

you should definitely give it another shot. this is a very good series (imo) and i would put it into "must see" category
 
Most animes go like that.
The first episode isnt anything special, because your not in the story yet, then later on u'll get to love it.
 
Darker then Black hmm? Well, I was planning on getting ahold of Monster after I finished watching Clannad...but, it looks like I may need to take a detour. The posts here have caught my interest. Enough to give it a shot, nia!
 
i ahvnt seen monster, but i feel like giving DTB a shot is a huge win.
ive seen a good bit of anime and its at the top of my lists

-but im also a sucker for anything involving "powers", or magic and such..
 
It does get better. I picked it up and dropped it 5 eps in when I first started it. Not because it was horrible, but that something shinier caught my eye. Then I was hearing really great things about season two, so started it up again. It really does get better the longer you watch it! Not that it was bad to begin with ^_^

The first episode was very confusing. But I must admit it has become one of my favourite anime. Love the fact that they delve into each of the main characters backgrounRAB.
The animation is very slick and stunning.
 
Yea some of the episodes did get a little confusing at times...but I still enjoyed the show, it's pretty amazing. Good story, well developed characters, and the action scenes are very well done! 2 thurabs up ^_^
 
i hear this was good but i havnt yet watched it . i think i am gonna try to next month i dont knoiw tho . is it anyone good whats it about
