Okay so I have been dying my hair since i was 10 I am now 15. This was because my uncle was a hairdresser and I loved having new colours in my hair. My hair has been from red to blonde to brown to pink to purple to orange so im not new with the whole colouring buisness. I do alot of my own colours and have doine for a few years. My hair was red for the last yearor so and i then dyed it chocolate brown this came out darker than imagined and was more of a black colour. I now want my hair blonde for the summer or atleast light enought to dye it mad colours in the summer. i have found this product and was wondering if anyone knows how good it is? I know i should go to a salon but i woyuld prefer to do it myself as i personnaly hate hairdressers lol and i have worked in one and know the usual crap they tell you when you want blonde hair . Any points a good point so please help . Thanks
Sorry i didnt make that very clear Its called One n Only colourfix . Its like a pre lightener / colour striiper

First of all, you shouldn't hate hairdressers, because it's sounding like you are going to need one. Second of all, COLOR WILL NOT LIFT ANOTHER COLOR. IT ONLY GOES DARKER, which is what I believe has happened to you, you have overlapped your colors and now it is going to need to be stripped out a bit before it will handle another color. If it can handle being stripped. Sometimes it gets really bad and breaks off. leaving to to have to cut your hair short and let is grow back out. But if you must do it yourself, since you know so damn much about it. Go to sallys and pick up some Efasol and start applying it from the ends up to the demarkation line where the darkness begins. You will have to color it again after you finish this process. So pick up some color while you are there. After you create this mess you are going to, and I know you are..... Think about how much money you are going to have to spend to eventually go to a hairdresser and pay them to fix it. When you could have saved 1/2 that amount and just let them do it in the first place. Go find someone who is good at highlights and just have it weaved, by doing this a couple times, you will balance your tones and eliminate the mess you have going on right now. Hate hairdressers? Shame on you !

to get your hair from dark to blonde you have to use bleach...there is no other way. You gotta suck all the color thats there out...and when its that dark its gonna take you probably 2 dye sessions to get it light, depending on how dark it is and how light you want it, it could possibly take three. Don't over due it all at once, do it in the seperate sessions, cuz you dont want your hair to fall out...wait at least a week in between the bleach sessions...and make sure you superly condition your hair so it stays healthy...last thing you want is fried hair! condition condition condition, and dont wash your hair for like 2 three days before you bleach it again. Helps not damage it the more natural hair oils you have, i know it sounds totally gross, but it works. Go as light as you like...they say not to use too much heat on it, like blow drying and flat ironing, but i did, and my hair is alright, but i use alot of products to keep it healthy. The first beaching it might come out kinda orangey or dark yellow....be prepared for that.

i just made my hair white.
