Has anyone heard of them before? Their debut CD comes out tommorrow and the songs they have on their website are tight as shit. You can listen to them at www.darknewday.com. Post your opinions. I preordered the CD and got it today (the day before it comes out) and I love it.
 
It should be pretty interesting to hear how Clint's sound fits in with this new band (btw, his brother is in the band too....might be one of the reasons he's in this band)

I'm looking forward to the disc...'Brother' is a really catchy song. Plus I used to be a Virgos Merlot fan back in the day, so I've been waiting for Brett to start a new project up (besides acting as the touring bassist for Creed )
 
Well, I listened to the album. It bears a VERY striking resemblence to anything Sevendust has ever put out. So...that means that either they're trying to copy Sevendust's sound, or that Clint was the true architect of Sevendust's sound. I would lean toward the latter. It's a decent album, some of the songs kind of stray off, but they play really well together, and it's put together pretty nicely. Somewhat forgettable, but I'm enjoying it.
 
i got forced to a Chevell show in Champaign Illinois, and DND opened for them


the show fucking sucked.
