Dare mp3 player HELP!!! please

I have an lg dare flashed over to cricket and I can't figure out how to use the mp3 player./ I used media monkey but I cant find the files once i unplug the phone. And I need the mp3 player. I have been looking for a solution for this for DAYS any and all info would be appreciated beyond belief. I just cant get the songs on the actual medai player. Feel free to IM me if you like just please help.
 
you need to put files in the proper folder on the memory card / phone.

my_music is the folder all your files go in. the mp3 player is built into the phone, go to the main menu and select media center then music and tones.

you can't put music in any folders, just put all files in there.
