about 250 mile round trip ride yesterday i can say im pleased with the seat. didnt cramp up and felt great the whole ride to me and im not the lightest in wieght folks. bought mainly for solo around town i think i could get a long haul from this seat and still be in good shape. everything ive done to my bike i have researched by reading post on this site by folks thats been there before me and must say i have had great results.
 
If you dont mind, I have asked others on this site so I would like your impressions? I have just purchased the DANNY GRAY SPEEDCRADLE SOLO SEAT for my 2008 HD Ultra Classic Electra Glide (I have a quick disconnect Tour Pak for solo rides). Did you notice any changes in seat height or forward position? Did the seat give you a different feel/control of the HD? Would like any info on your experience of the seat and impressions? Thanks in advance for any input you have.
 
Yes, I think the Speed Cradle is designed to drop you down and move you forward. Did just that for me (since I am short) and looks pretty good, too.

Not only is it lower, but the front of the seat is not as wide as the stock seat so you can plant your feet much better when stopping or moving the bike around.

I also got the Super Reduced Reach Seat for 2-up when needed but the Danny Gray is my regular seat and although it looks like the seat is too thin, it's not bad at all since the foam is firmer and the shape helps a lot.
