I saw this on Five last week and thought it was a cracking little film. I read the book many times as a child and I thought this complemented it very well. Jeremy Iron's performance is great and the relationship between him and his real life son, who plays Danny, is touching. Robbie Coltrane excels as the baddie. Just a great, feelgood film!
