dangers with ell phones and brain cancer?

i was watching the news and i heard that holding a cell phone up to your earcan give off radiation and cause brain cancer.i heard that you should use bluetooth.is this true do i have anything to worry about, and is just a regular headset ok to use or does it have to be a bluetooth
