Dane Elec Mini SD adapter memory card locked (switch won't unlock it, up or down)?

I've done some research, trying to figure out how to unlock my memory card (my camera is a casio exilim, 8.1 mega pixels)...but with the switch up or down, the card remains locked. I tried fixing it a while ago, and tried again tonight...no change. What do I need to do???????
