Dancing at winter formal?

We're going in a pretty big group all with dates.

Do people usually dance with other people, or just stick with their date?

Do people talk during slow dances or just stare at each other? lol

How is a winter formal dance different from other school dances, or is it not? (Is it still people dressed up, grinding/freaking to hip-hop music?)
 
It isn't really different. It's still people dressed up, "grinding/freaking to hip hop music" haha. I guess that depends on you and your date. If you're comfortable grinding/freaking with other people and your date is too then you can dance with other people; if not you'll be dancing with the same person. they rarely play slow songs so you don't really have to worry about that.
 
Nothing changes except you're wearing a dress/tux and have a date...expect the grinding lol!
 
I am in eigth grade and at all my dances ppl just kinda go with the music, not really dancing more like what u do when u hear a good song on your ipod. :D I don't typically slow dance so I don't know, although I am quite looking forward to slow dancing this year. Not gonna say anymore! :D
