Dancers Lifestyle? Ideas, Tips, Motivation?

Hey. I am 20 years old and I've been in and out of dance since I was little. I'm sick of never just doing it!! I don't want to become professional or anything... I just want to be able to dance... and dance beautifully. I've decided to dedicate the next few years- on just flexibility and strength.. and just work my hardest.. then hopefully I will be more confident to go back into a dance class. I know I'm older than most dancers and it's gonna be hard.. but I don't care. haha. So do any dancers have any tips... as far as what foods to eat- what foods to stay away from. What about exercise? How do you get those beautiful calves? Just anything... I am really open to learn anything about a dancers lifestyle.. and their daily routine = ) thank you!!!
