I've been dancing for almost 10 years but this year I injured my back and couldn't dance for about 5 months. I gained heaps of weight and lost almost all flexibility, strength and alot of dancing ability due to being unable to stretch or exercise in anyway whatsoever. I'd like some professional advice on how to get a slim body again(flat stomach, smaller thighs), how to get amazing all round flexibility back, how to get strength back(full legs, abdominal, arms), get back wonderfully pointed toes(as I wish to go en pointe next year) and anything else.
I am currently 13 years of age(but myself, dance teacher, GP and parents don't mind me going on any diet or anything), I live in Australia and I have 6 weeks until dancing commences again and I ask for recommended stretches, exercises and stretch and exercise plans, recommended eating/diet plans as well as what and what not to eat. I do ballet as well as jazz, musical theater, contemporary, lyrical etc.
I don't mind if I don't have full strength back when I return to dancing, as long as I: am in the splits(at the least).
