I'm going to a middle school where we get to dance, and i expected to be in a higher level since i have been doing ballet for 9 years, jazz for 3, and flamenco for 3, and have been on pointe for 1.5 years, but there is one form of dance they do that i havnt done before(tap) so they put me in level one. grr... i really dont think ill be properly challenged in that class thats for ppl who have never danced before. wat do u think? will i catch on quickly to jazz since i have background knowledge(wow that term makes me feel like im in first grade) or is it the correct placement? and if not wat should i do about it?
