Dammit, my car is making a noise

My car burns a negligible amoutn. Most cars as old as mine at least have bad valve seals that smoke a lot at startup. Mine does no such thing.

And I wish I had true duals all the way back, but that's just the 2 into 1 flowmasters on it.

Also, I got under there to look around today, and I was able to squeeze that mofo out without doing anything to the y-pipe, awkward, but doable.

It seems to be working fine now... we'll see how long this new starter lasts though.

Ha ha, I finally saw this, and felt the need to comment on starter replacement. I've had the 'opportunity' to change out two starters in parking lots with no jacks, a pair of channel locks, and a copious amout of curse words. Props to ya.

EDIT:: I would also like to point out that neither starter was on MY vehicle. :thumbsdn:

You didn't buy a starter from Auto Zone did you? Ifyou did then get ready to replace it on a regular basis. ABout 25% don't work from the store.

I hate Auto Zone.

I dont know anything about cars or at least your car, I only own a 2006 Suzuki Reno.

As for Friday the 13th, i had no problems, it was pay day for me and my boyfriend and I were off that day, so we took it upon ourselves to go out to OBX in NC for the day cause it was nice out. Didn't have any weird shit happen that day for me.

LOL that's what iM afraid of.

I bought one from O'Reilly Auto Parts.

They're always really cool over at this one I go to so I always give them repeat business. Guy said this starter had a lifetime warranty... So it should work for a while at least.

If it croaks I'll probably just get a really nice newer style reduction gear ministarter. They're a bit ricy though, like $200 a pop. But they'll last forever. :)
