First off i am a huge cowboy fan, but trying to think this out logically. I dont agree with the new DO-Over rule. I think just as the ref is part of the playing field and if a kicker hits an upright, it is not a do over, hitting the screen during a punt should not be a do over. If the kicking team hits the screens the ball will MOST LIKELY bounce back towards them resulting in a poor punt. It should be a live ball. It will keep punters from TRYING to hit the screens and could play into a home field advantage for the cowboys. Could also hurt them as they have to play at least 8 games a year there. Anyone care to start there opinion on this. I dont want to hear about raising the screen because it is within league standards
